January 2000 weekend in the Adirondacks

Pictures from a weekend ski trip to the Adirondacks. Unfortunately, I forgot to pack the camera on Saturday. These photos are from Sunday, when we went to Avalanche Lake. The party consisted of Bob Melville, Conor Rafferty, Peter Feldmann, and I. Bob's friend Travis skied with us on Saturday, but decided to spend Sunday at the Cascade cross-country ski center doing some track skiing. Click on one of the thumbnails to see a larger image.

• Oh, those avalances. Actually the result of a slide that happened back in the fall
• At the lake. Conor, being the awesome skier/suicidal maniac that he is, decided to trek up the slide and ski down that instead of heading up to the lake...
